Hi, I’m Lisa Paladino,

As an RN, CNM, and IBCLC with over 35 years of experience, I’ve worked with countless families navigating the challenges of breastfeeding.

If you’re a healthcare professional, you already know that breastfeeding matters. You want to support the families in your care—but when it comes to milk supply, most of us didn’t learn what we needed in school.

I’ve been there!

Even with years of clinical training, I wasn’t taught how milk is actually made—or how to recognize the signs that something isn’t working well. That kind of knowledge often comes later… when we’re already in the field and families are depending on us for answers.

That’s why I created this course.

Whether you’re a midwife, dentist, RN, MD, SLP, OT, or any professional working with new parents, this training will give you practical, real-world insight into milk supply—what’s normal, what’s not, and how to recognize early red flags. You'll gain confidence in your ability to guide, support, and refer appropriately.

Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about knowing the science—it’s about helping families meet their feeding goals.

That’s exactly what this

course is designed for!

FAQs

Why should I learn about milk supply, even if I'm not a lactation consultant?

Because every encounter with a member of the healthcare team is an opportunity to support breastfeeding. Infants are falling through the cracks. We are all responsible for guiding families to reach their breastfeeding goals. As a lactation consultant, I often get referrals when it is too late to help with full supply. I wish that the providers who had seen them in the very beginning knew the information in this course.

Will I get Continuing Education Credit?

YES! The course is approved for 1 L-Cerps through IBLCE. Certificate is awarded upon completion.

Can I learn at my own pace?

Yes! This is a video to watch whenever you'd like and refer to when you need refreshing.
